August 8th'Singer Takes It All'

Thursday 7th August I was told to make my way to a hotel in London to prepare for what my Friday would consist of... I reached the top 10 on Channel 4's The Singer Takes It All, hosted by Alan Carr. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! Never did I think I'd get that far... So 8:30am on Friday the 8th August I was picked up by a producer - Chris and escorted to Elstree TV Studio to be prepared for the live show on the Friday night. I was first taken to wardrobe, then on to make up - WOW what an experience! It was amazing. The day was fantastic and I got to meet some great people, Alan Carr and the interesting Rizzle Kicks too. Unfortunately due to the show being live and the running time tight, I didn't make it on to the TV along with 2 other girls, despite being all ready with my mic on behind the set. I was gutted, that I can't deny but the experience and whole day is something I'll never forget and has only made me want my dream even more.

November 2nd ï»¿'Spireworks'

Saturday 2nd November I performed at Salisbury's Spireworks! I was chosen by the local radio station to be a support act for the firework night they were putting on which was great! What I then found out - was I was going to be supporting Matt Cardle; Winner of the X-Factor! The evening was amazing, I chilled with Matt in a caravan before performing in front of 5,000 people, the audience was amazing and supporting Matt was just fantastic. I was later contacted by Matt and told that I have an amazing voice and to keep in touch - well that's a promise I'll hold him to!

September 17th ï»¿'The Horse Factor'
I took part in a competition a little bit like the xfactor. It started off with 8 of us all singing for a place in the next round infront of 4 judges. After singing one song of our choice the judges then saved 3 to perform again, I was lucky enough to be chosen, sang again and won the round resuting in me moving on to the regional final in October...
I was labeled 'Effortless' and told I sing with such ease and give great eye contact to the audience, they really felt I sang to people individually. In result of that I won!

January 20th Open Mic uk results
Sadly I wasn't lucky enough to win Open Mic UK but the experience was amazing and a memory that will forever be with me. The performance I put on for the final couldn't have gone better and I was more than happy with my performance having given it my all. The judges feedback was very positive and I am very proud of myself. This is certainly my biggest achievement yet.
